top of gondola in Boro should be no problem, friends were boarding in may last year

gondola closed 3rd week of april last year fraser and sarah.
probably Borovets is better for the late skiing cos the skiing is done above 2200m only at that time.so gondola all the way up then skiing on the drags and gondola again back.Bansko-gondola then lift and only then the drags on top .after that is lift back walk to gondola and gondola back down to arrive is a brown town.
