hi been borovets and changed 20 pound notes at crown booths is it the same in bansko ,arrive 9th feb

Best rate of exchange is usually Alpha bank in town square ... loads of money botths about , but rip off merchants

thanks wfm are the booths crown as they dont seem to be a rip off in borovets

I've been using the booths for years, never had one issue. Look for the blue crown, and I never change too much in one go just in case. Only issue is a slightly weaker rate than the banks.

That said, I've converted to using the cashpoints of late, which is obviously 2nd safest after going into the bank, which is sometimes difficult to find the time to do.
