Is it best to change your money in UK before you go out to bansko or is there a better rate in the resort if so were is the best place to change money ?

I used the Strazhite hotel just the other day never a problem rate was 213. Located in resort centre opposite the lion bar

Always best to have some lev in your pocket for the journey to resort and first night, you can also draw lev from ATM machines in resort, remmember to tell your bank you are travelling to Bulgaria. Smile Smile

go to a bank in the old town, a 10 minute walk , i find obb the best and this is there web site to keep up to date http://www.ubb.bg/Home.aspx
