cheap dvd's in borovets

the last time I was in borovets (6yrs ago) there were stalls and stalls selling bootleg cd's (between the samokov & rila). are they still there? do they now sell dvd's?

Go into the Hotel Samokov. Head towards the Swimming pool and Bowling alley. There is a stall on the left hand side full of DVD's

I bought some last year, the music cd's were of good quality while the DVD's were rubbish, i repeat RUBBISH.

I would not reccomend anyone to buy the dvd's there, its actually more worthwhile to rent them from the local video store and copy/decrypt and burn them yourself

We brought five!!! Must of been mad cos three of them were spoken in Bulgarian with english sub titles!!! not too good on The Last Samurai!!!!! Crying

DVD are a waste of money as very poor quality. CDs are fine, I have bought dozens and never had a dud one Steve

They would be region compliant (Region 2 covers Europe, both UK andBulgaria) if that's what you meant. Most of the stall holders told me they worked in all regions, don't know if that's true. Also note everyone else's poor ratings of the quality...

I didn't like to buy any for that very reason. It's a long way to go to get you money back.
