cheapest option for ski pass

Any advice peeps?

Off to Bansko on 25th, skiing up to 4th, and home on 5th, so need a 7 day pass in total (6+1?).

Not a package deal, so can't get pass through agent/rep.

What's the cheapest way to get a ski pass in Bansko on arrival? Do I just get up early, skip breakfast, and queue at the gondola?

Hi the prices are on the bansko web site www.banskoski.com, click on the union jack on the top right to change to english.

If you rent at the same tim I think there is a small discount.

re: cheapest option for ski pass

I would recommend getting a 6 day pass in advance and getting a 1 day pass on that morning

Four of us Cornish boys arriving Sunday 26th and staying with Glynis at Devonshire Lodge for the week.
It doesn't appear that you can book passes on-line so are you suggesting nipping down to the office Sunday afternoon to get them?
The snow forcast is looking promising.Cool

It may be worth e-mailing Glynis asap as she may be able to get the passes for you in advance.

Cheers for replies.

Still not sure how I can prebook a pass - impossible?Guess I'll just try on Saturday night on arrival, ready for (hopefully) fresh tracks Sunday morning Wink otherwise queuing on Sunday it is...

Liking the snow god so far! Can we have another 50cm monday/tuesday too?

re: cheapest option for ski pass

Unfortunately unless you go with a tour operator you can't book in advance, as on a 6 day pass they put your photo on it. It also means that the whole party has to go down to get their photos taken. Try paying for the passes with a nationwide credit card- they don't chg the usual 2.75% exchange commission. he rate they used on my card was 2.86 which is a hell of a lot better thanpaying cash.
