does anyone recommend a day trip there? what are the cost involved for a family of 4? how does it compare to the wonderful pamps?

A great day out.
Lift pass is 12 lev all day, and by mini bus it cost us just 50 lev there and back devided by 20. 3 lev each to include a tip.

Blue and green runs are long but narrow, whereas the reds and blacks are very wide.

If you go, make sure you go with someone who knows the area as you may end up on a run that is more difficult than you intended. Most instructors can arrange a day there if you ask them.

what is it like to get there from Bover ? Alo Vitosha etc etc

Ask in your resort, but it is a much longer trip, so the time and cost will be greater.
From Pamporovo it is just 10km.
