Has anybody been to Chepelare? What is it like?

never been there, but I know its very small. Best go to Pamporovo for your holiday, then go to Chepelare for a days skiing. Its only a taxi ride away! Its also where they make Orion skis.

went to cheperlare last year for the morning. It has a lovely, very long green from top to bottom with some nice narrow sections. Cheperlare was were I did my first black run without knowing until I got down the bottom and read the piste map !! Made my day
The chairlift is abit scarey first time, just remember to"lift your legs" and close the bar.

Chepelare is only 10km. away from Pamporovo. Very good runs I think the longest one on the balkans is there. a lot of small very good and cheap hotels that offer transport to Pamporovo every day. The good thing is you can ski there or go to Pamp and safe a lot.

thanks alot for all your info everyone!we drove through there at xmas and our ski instructor(Nick) said that sometimes when the slopes are busy in feb he takes his group up there with a bottle of wine and a picnic,but its great to hear what people say that have skied there!
