The oldest one can ski however we are looking for a ski school for them both,Alot of the brochures start at 8 for ski school but will rent you equipment for a 4 year old.
Any advice would be great.

Alan They don't stick strictly to the age 8 but not sure if they will take them as young as your two into the main ski school. If you wanted them to ski most of the day and stay together it may be worth while paying for private tuition.

Ski kindergarten come out morning and afternoon to ski, so you could combine that with some private lessons. They will have ski equipment for their ages/size. Depends on what skiing you plan on doing for yourself.

It's an akward age in any resort, I found.

re: child ski school

I took my son to pamps when he was 4. He started in ski school but it became apparent very quickly that he was bored waiting around and struggled with all the side by side climbing to get back up the slight slope he had skied down. Transferred to 1-1 and never looked back he went off every day with his instructor and met us for lunch. He just wanted to ski but couldn't do that in a group as we all had to learn the basics whereas with 1-1 he skied down the nursery slope from top to bottom ...

Transferred to 1-1 and never looked back he went off every day with his instructor and met us for lunch. He just wanted to ski but couldn't do that in a group as we all had to learn the basics whereas with 1-1 he skied down the nursery slope from top to bottom straight off as the instructor could just pick him up as he was the only one he had to worry about and he learnt all his techniques covertly rather than endless exercises like you have in a class. A couple of sessions I went off with him and a couple of sessions him and his instructor skied with our group so spent plenty of time with each other including skiing together after classes. By the end of the week he had progressed further than me and now at 8 is a far superior skier to me. I paid 70 levs per days for 4hrs which was fantastic. I would look into private tuition for both of them if I were in your situation. Have a fab hol Very Happy Very Happy

re: child ski school

Our friends are in Pamporovo now with their 6 year old son who has never skied before. Yesterday was his first day, and because of the lack of snow the kindergarden rep said they would be staying in the hotel to play games.

Our friends said 'No Way' as Raffy had been looking forward to his 1st day for months. So they paid for him to learn 1 x 1 with an instructor.

Today (his 2nd ever day) he skied from the top to the bottom of the mountain with his instructor Razz

I wouldnt recommend the kindergarden at all for the twi kids. we started going to Borovets when my youngest daughter was only 3, both children went into the kindergarden for our first two years visit but hated it. we ended up leaving our ski school lessons early (sometimes before lunch) to collect them and ski with them in the afternoon. we managed to get them both into ski school at age 5 and 7 to learn to ski and then the last 3 visits have skiied with us and our instruction (George - ...

They have improved fantastically and it is now a real family holiday with us alll skiing together for the whole day, 9.30 start to about 4.30 finish - not bad for 8 and 10 year olds. The George I mentioned my be worth talking to and see if he is happy to take you as a family (unless you want to ski alone!!) His number is 00359 888350 216. Tell him Karen sent you!!!
