can someone please let me know the best course of action (my wife would go in a ski class with them if possible as she's a near beginner)

here's hoping one of you luvley people can advise.
there is a kindergarten in the rila hotel its very good drop them of in the morn. pick them up when you finish they feed them and take them to the slopes i think you must book before you go who are you going with hope this helps regards B.W.
we're staying at the Rila and going with First Choice who haven't been over-reassuring in their advice!
do i need to prebook skis and boots for my girls or would the kindergarten supply?
and if they do supply can we use the equiptment outside of kindergarten time?
another thing - do the ski school lessons bring you back to the resort at lunchtime, or do you stay away all day til 4ish?
if anyone can let me know the answers i'd be very grateful.
Cheers ...
thanks for replying B.W.

Children 7 and under do not need a ski pass. You will need to organise equipment. The kindergarten will do it for you and you can use it in your own time as well. It is the ski pass that is more costly our there. If I were you I would sort the oldest child out here and pre book lessons, etc. If First Choice won't help with the younger one then sort it out on your first morning. Go first to the kindergarten and take her to ski school if necessary.

I skiied with both our children last year - ages 6 & 8. It worked really well and we stayed with 2 other families - friends for the kids and adult company for me. We had all skiied the year before, the children in kindergarten. My husband who is more intermediate joined us for 2 seperate days rather than going out with his ski group. This worked really well as it meant I could go off and be a bit more adventurous without worrying about them.
You usually stay with your ski group all day from about 10.00am to 4.00pm. Lunch is usually taken where you happen to be at about 12 o'clock. The ski instructors all eat free in the restaurants so please don't think you've only been taken to a certain place as he gets commission - it is standard for everyone.
I hope this all helps. Ask if you want to know more.
We stayed at the Samokov, they had seperate ski classes for kids though mine were 5 and 7 they skied in a class of only 3 (with another lad of 7), My kids can both ski quite ok so they okd this (i pre booked through Balkan before i left uk).
Both came on very well (all 3 kids competently doing reds by the end of the week!).
Ski kindergarten looked ok but didnt do much skiing, i want the kids quite good within a couple of years so they can follow me around!

they got their 20 lev each morning for lunch (usually having 12 Lev or so left), and after dropping them off at 10.00am, I picked them up around 3pm, but I was usually around where they were to see how they were doing. Some days i spent the morning with the instructor and we all skied together, and had a few drinks afterwards! (there again she was a nice Woman, enough said!!)
