What are the hire skis like?... i have my own skis but as we're doing a few things the particular week we intend to go here it's not an option to take them (although we will be taking our boots!!)
Also, has anyone tried the luge? For £18 i would hope to get more than one run down it!
Slope is about the same length as at Xscape castleford, about 180 metres but is about twice as wide aprox 100 m so you have quite a lot more room to play in. The lift pass system is a little annoying as you have to get the barcode read at the turnstyle every time you use the lift, also the q for the lifts is slightly uphill which can be a pain. The snow quality is quite good but seems a little heavier than at Cas and was a bit icy from overuse at the top, just as you start your descent. As ...

cool thanks for that rm, it's gonna be midweek around midday we go so don't anticipate big queues... looking forward to playing on a wider slope... Gutted can't take my own skis now though as would have been good for carving practice!
