christmas bansko ski lifts

Hi everyone,

I seem to remember last year a few people complaining about the ski lifts in Bansko being closed over christmas, I have done a search for the info I am looking for but nothing came up.

I believe it was due to high winds, but just want to check that the lifts are open on christmas day/boxing day as a rule, other than bad weather!
it maybe too soon to find out, not sure how many of the die hard ski bulgaria addicts are checking the website, but.... it is only 5 months away ...

I was there last Christmas and the lifts were open every day including Christmas Day , Boxing Day and new years day.

thanks, I just wanted to check before I booked it.... I just went for the day over christmas and I remember one afternoon the gondolo being closed due to high winds, and I seem to remember someone complaining on here about the lack of lifts over christmas, but if you were there you obviously know.....

I was there from 24th December and 31st Dec and I don't remember the gondola being closed. If it had of been I think I would have remembered the party in the town.

Then again ..... maybe not

Dave Canski is correct, the lifts were open all over the christmas period without problem.

It will the same this year as well, weather and of course snow permitting!!

if the party had been realy good you wouldnt have remembered it, yes the lifts are open over christmas.
