will the lifts be open on christmas day? or is it gonna be one long session in the bars?

yes they will be open,they might open i hour late at 10 rather than 9

I spent Christmas 2002 in Pamps. Nothing closed. Things go a bit busy on the slopes becuase lots of people were on holiday from around the world.

Don't forget your Father Christmas hat for Christmas day (if you feel well enough to ski).......
