jus been informed by Chrystal ski that there departure for 19th dec 2009 which i was booked on has been cancelled.
this also effects panorama/airtours bookings.
Balkan tours from Belfast are not operating on xmas this year either
sad news 4 Irish travellers.
I have spent the last 7 years in pamps at xmas.
is this the start of things to come 4 the new season
Its looks like it, the pre-booking numbers are down dramatically and this has caused the operators to get the shudders about chartering aircraft. These jitters are effecting the whole winter holiday industry, not just BG...
This season is going to be tough, but hey !!! there is always a silver lining..... no queues
thats good news, will give them a call, balkan tours r a good company, i checked with there office july and they told me they wernt starting till 26th december, but obviously they have changed their plans
chrismas new year half term bookings all came very early this year. i put this down to the airlines selling the flights a lot earlier this year.. apart from that about the same as last year but with less english and irish.. still optimistic about the season because i still believe bulgaria offers value. i base this on a couple of bookings from people who dont like europe and always ski canada/usa who both said it was down to cash...
