are english brand ciggys a probelm to get for example wud we find L &B ? or even malborugh lights? once had an experiance with lucky star cigs and it wasnt good!

Hi,

The main brand out there seems to be Victory which you can get Victory lights and Ultras for about 2lev. The English people I spoke to said they are fine.

Hi again -

We don't smoke but my son took 600 back for his mates & they say they're OK. Bought for 1.60lev at the Murgavets shop so even with the lowest exchage rate of 2.50lev - £1.00, that's only about 65p a pack.

Were offered B&H etc in the walkway between the Murgavets & Perlik but I gather this would be imitations. (Hubby wondered why this chap kept showing him pics of cigs in a folder)

Many English brands are fake, although i did find one shop in Borovets that sold original Bensons for 4 lev per pack (£1.50)

Try the Victory brand as mentioned before, they are varying in strength and not a bad smoke......unlike Lucky Strikes

Yes. You go through some doors in the Murgavets and there is a walkway with a couple of small shops and then down some steps to the chemist, and small photo processing (I think),some more shops & internet/phone place. Carry on, you go through a "tunnel" and if you go up the stairs it takes you into the Perlik hotel with all its lobbies, bars etc.
Very good idea as you can have a change of scenery without having to go & get you coat/boots!
