I note that Pamps seems to keep one slope open, despite the bad weather (meaning no snow!) and this could potentially ruin any cover I get from insurance.
I go out on 3rd Feb and having paid over £1k for this holiday, which whilst cheap for skiing, I could've gone somewhere hot and nice for two weeks for the same price, and I don't want to be caught foul of the "insurance won't pay out because you could ski because one piste was open".

Just in anticipation basically but...

The above to my mind is nonsensical and irks me somewhat that I could potentially end up paying for a ski holiday, not really skiing at all, and not be covered by insurance because Pamps decide to keep one poor slope open.
Any thoughts on this (by "this" I mean my hope of claiming for piste closure when one is open, not my depressive attitude!).
See what the cancelation policy is of your holiday provider.. if for example you 'caught' a sickness and got a cert to prove this most places have to refund most of what you paid.
It's just hacked me off all the more now I've seen bansko has 21 cm of snow predicted in the coming three days and Pamporovo has sweet fa, despite Ben/ster's predictions.
Even more frustrating is that no doubt Inghams wouldn't transfer now to Bansko.
You can feel it anyway, it is getting colder... that feelings when the skies are about to open. I know that Pamporovo is a distance away but they can get the snow cannons going when the temp drops
