Hi just want some information on pricing of private lessons in boro, is there a site I can book through before my trip or just book when i'm out there? Hotel samokov, 31st jan!! Can't wait
There are lots of hire and lesson places in Boro as I'm sure you can imagine. There are 2 that I always hear great things about, Hunters and Snowmasters. Both can be found on Facebook and have their own websites. I personally use Snowmasters to service my own gear and they are amazing at that. What are you doing for ski/board hire? The reason I ask is that there are packages available that would include hire of gear, lessons and lift pass. May be worth considering.

We are also out at the end of Jan. Deffo come along to Bobbys Bar and meet everyone. Do you know how to find it?
I'm not out till end of Feb but i have used hunters before and they are great.
One of our group had private lesson with an instructor from hunters (Oggiee) and she had nothing but good to say about him.
I've not used SnowMasters, but they have very high reviews on Tripadvisor.
Opposite the Samokov Hotel is White Magic, a bar run by Christo Angelov (ex-Olympic skier). He does private lessons, as does his daughter Lora (also an international skier). The charge last season was 50 lev for 2 hours (around £20-25). Lora is an excellent instructor, and I've always found her most helpful.
Lora gets quite booked up towards the end of the week, so I ...
As above, I too recommend Hunters.

Lora gets quite booked up towards the end of the week, so I suggest you go into the bar on the Sunday. Or she is on facebook (Lora Angelova) as is Christo, so you can make contact that way.
At some point, I must have a lesson with Christo. It's on the list of the best 10 things to do whilst in Borovets. However if it's just a very good private lesson try Lora.
I'd suggest that you book a weeks worth with Hunters. Snow masters have good reviews but I've never used them. If you are staying at the Samokov hotel, they have their own school which is also pretty good and you wouldn't need to walk anywhere in the morning.
Hi the white magic as mentioned are excellent for friendly private lessons where they will make you feel relaxed and also bring some fun to the lessons as well, am sure who ever you chose you will have a blast.
