cost of ski school for kids

Has anyone had to pay for their 6 year old this year to go in the ski school from the rila hotel this year and how much did it cost? We have already paid for our other kids but cannot pay in advance for the youngest so we feel that we may get ripped off in the resort.re: cost of ski school for kids

Had a look around but cannot find any prices
What I did find was the email address for hotel Samokov who (apparantly coordinates the tourist info service)
try an email to them and ask for pricing....may get a better deal than just sticking to the Rila ski school....

our six year old had a free place in the creche but it was no problem to bring him to the ski school at no extra cost[email protected]
I am in the same situation as Joanne. Does it depend on the tour operator. I would like my five year old to have ski lessons in ski kindergarton. I have been told that I can only book at the resort and I dont know how long these run for ie if they are only 2 hours what happens in the afternoon ,if I am in ski schoolre: [email protected]
Last year at the Rila our 6 year old was in the Hotel Kindergarden every day and had a great time. They went out skiing once in the morning and then again in the afternoon both times for about 1-1.5 hours. the level of skiing was very basic but was probably enough considering the age/stamina. Be warned though, unless there are other children of a similar age in the kindergarden, it may be a little boring for the older children (6+) as it is primarily geared for the younger children. normal ...

Lunch was provided but was similar standard to the other meals in te Rila hotel (OK but may be not to a childs liking). The ski schools were not overly keen on taking children under 7 in to ski school, however private tuition is reasonable and can be arranged locally if necessary.
