how long have you been living in BG? is it in bansko exactly?and how are the locals treating youre: crazy lady
Yes I'm renting an apartment in Bansko, I have been here since the beginning of Dec 04. As for the locals they are so friendly it's untrue, I don't really speak any BG at the moment although I'm looking into it, the people like to practise their english on me and try to help me with odd words.

cool my wife is bulgarian and at the moment we are having some plans drawn up to build a b&b in a village called progled 4km from pamps and thinking of moving out there in a few years and starting a little buisness just wondering how you find it and if the bulgarians welcome you enough,i have met quite a few from resorts and most are friendly,but as for living there are they the same?re: crazy lady
I've not had any problems, you are lucky having a BG wife so you wont have any language problems. Out here is a completely different way of life. They are hard workers, nothing is too much trouble for them, and boy can they have a good time! 
Still it's a hard life and someone has to do it. Have you brought the land or building because if not don't leave it too long, I work in a real estate agency here in Bansko and the prices are rising. I'm sure you know that anyway.

I can wholeheartedly recommend it out here, it's not perfect but then no where is. And who wants perfect anyway

ye we got the land sined seeled and delivred we have an archetect who is now coming up with some nice ideas! its a friend of her dads who is helping us alot too, starting to get a little excited now!!!!!!!!!! we are also out there in feb to see the family and go to pamps.... kewl!!!re: crazy lady
