credit card use in Boro

Hi , guys i would like to ask a stupid question ,will bars and resturants accept credit cards?
Dont want to take alot of sterling in case it gets lost or stolen.

What can I say Cash is King. Although I havent paid with Credit Card I believe some do offer the ability although not widely advertised. Cash is the prefered option. I always take cash and have never had a problem.

Im sure this was mentioned on a thread not that long ago.......
