just had a letter off cs, warning me of building work outside the pamps hotel, and that it will not have any "substantial impact on your holiday enjoyment". Sounds a bit ominous, reports from people returning would be appreciated.

There is some work going on opposite -- but you will be skiing whilst any work is going on so you will not notice a thing.
