Hi

It's bulgarian Lev at the resort , but you can pay Euros @ the hotels. Read somewhere that credit card fraud is high so would leave the cc at home.

Rate is better for exchange in resort. 2.80 in Perelik. There is a cash machine in the mourgavets which charges based on your own bank. usually a charge of about £2.50 per transaction. rate on the day but probably lower than 2.80 if you can book ski pass and hire before you go it will be cheaper. £100 approx in resort for six days for lift pass. crystal sell for £68. Package is best deal. If you want excellent skis and customer service interski is great. dress code is what you make ...

Went out for first time last year and took loads of clothes,
then found out that everyone was really casual at nights, combats and jeans etc. T Shirts is all you need in the bars and hotels in the evening it is so warm....
