re: currency

really dosn't matter probably get a slightly better exchange rate in the resort but post office was 2.69 yesterday so you won't save that much.

there are plenty of ATM's in borovets (don't know about other resorts) and banks will let you get money out on your credit card if you really need it

re: currency

It is worth taking a few levs with you, but if you can get 2.8 or better here, then it might be worth taking some more. M & S have good rates with no commission to pay!

You can change your notes at your hotel reception, but be careful about people approaching you in the street as you will be ripped off. Waiters etc who are always around are not a bad bet too!

Just checked M&S, their rate is 2.743 at the minute!

re: currency

The rates are always better in the resort. Take sterling notes in good condition or use ATMs.
