Hey

We are going to Borevets in 2 weeks what will the currency be as Bulgaria joined the euro in Jan will it be Euros? Has it being snowing in Borevets as i have heard there has been a shortage

I cant wait to go

Hi Rachel

The currency is the Lev, Bulgaria will not be adpoting the Euro until at least 2010. Exchange rates can vary from 2.5 to 2.86 Lev to the £ so shop around. The best rates are in banks in Bulgaria but you will need to take clean unmarked & not torn English notes if changing in BG.
