my sister was in bulgaria about ten years ago and she just handed me 50 levs she had left over from then. The note is quite old looking I looked it up on google and seems they updated their notes after 1999 this note would be from before that don't suppose anyone would know if it would still be accepted in bulgaria?? im packing right now lol leaving for dublin airport around mid night woop woop

Mary, in its hey day it would have been worth about one and a half .p, there was 3,00 to the pound. F.V.

I remember back to 1989 when you could get a serious hangover for a couple of quid. Abottle of "Champagne" was approx 80 pence I think. They ran out of soft drinks on a regular basis though.. Confused
