currency

going to borovets for the first time next saturday, what is the best currency to take, I've have heard it's is better to take stirling and not to change into Levs...........can you help!!!

where are you staying? Im going to Borovets for my first time on 22nd from Gatwick on my own. Have done everything here just for ease when i get there. Have changed currency at the post office, was easy, just need a couple of days to get it as its not a main currency that they keep in stock!

Just got back and I'd advise to take GBP then change it there. 2.9 in the Rila I was told yesterday. Much better than the UK rates. I had no problems at qall changing and if you go to the same place they sometimes waver the charge or give you a better rate. I know Crown next to the Buzz Bar Do.

just read rattys comments this person said 2.9 leva in rila ,this must be another rila because ive just got home today and it was never 2. 9 try 2.4 this is the worst exchange rate in borovets take my advise,us the bank in hotel samakov changed the last of my money yesterday, and got 2.76 no commission people on street where offering me as much as 4.0 .but cant be sure of money.play it safe .go to the bank.
