do you need training to use the drag lifts

are drag lifts easy to use or will i need training on them before i'm allowed to use them

You will be fine. It's not difficult and if you are in a ski school, the instructor will show you what to do. Otherwise, just observe what other people do.

even on a snowboard will i be allowed to unstrap my back foot or is that not allowed

actually caz, you've raised a good point. i use flow bindings and i have to completely unstrap by back binding and leave my leading binding half undone. if i wear a leash, will i be okay? i've never had this problem anywhere else but its worth asking... i'm doing boro for the first time in jan.

yeah you will be fine, you are allowed to unstrap your back foot. just make sure you keep on a very gentle edge when on the lift or your back end will slide out all over the place

lol that was my only claim to boarding that i could do and other half couldnt
cos of his knee he cant do the drag lift on board and i can
yeah back binding undone and front in control and all ok
