Don't be dreading your hols, I am sure you will have a nice / good time.

Last year I stayed at the Hotel Pompovora had a fantastic week learning to ski [2nd year at learning, 1st year was in Andora - Arinsol] It was muah better than my hols in Andora. We managed to avoid the Brit Nuts if there were any in Pomp.

The only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was the Bulgerian men at the cafes selling BELLS! I did buy one, put it on my coat then after that I just ignored them and they didn't bother me. Some of my friends kept being polite and saying no thanks or at the end of the week - Don't fall into that trap as they will follow you round all week. I found it better to buy one on the second day when you have sussed out which is the cheapest & just politely say I won't be buying any more then after that when you see them don't give them eye contact & they should leave you alone. I still have the bell in my waterproof jacket & it tincles as I walk reminding me of the great holiday I had.

I also enjoyed the Skidoo ride my husband, son & I went on in the evening, It was a bit bumpy & a little hard to control at times when I was driving, it was like riding a moterbike.

I can also recomend a body massarge at the Hotel Pompovora & they also have a nice pool

I am looking forward to this year I am going to Borovets in a group on the 31 Jan for a week so I am looking out for news on that resort but I intend to have a good time with family & friends.
