Just reading back-pages and noticed question about dri-ski slopes. I've skiied on these things a couple of times and never made it to bottom without being on MY bottom! Last year took lessons at Xscape - a lot better on 'real' snow, but still quite scary. However, first time on PROPER stuff in Pamps I fared much better - it was a lot easier as you have powdery bits to help with control and loads more space. Was glad I'd had some lessons before I went, but NOTHING is as good as the real ...

Only ever skied on dry slopes. I think since March (40th birthday) we have skied or boarded every week. Really looking forward to trying the real stuff. Borrovets feb 17th bring it on.
