is there a good selection of duty free in the airport or is it better to buy in the resort

It's better to buy in the resort. I can't remember seeing anything there for the last two years.

none at all--remember you alos now cannot take thru customs anything in your hand luggage over 100ml in size and totalling no more than 1 litre in total (must fit in a clear 1 litre bag INCLUDING all container (bottles etc))

You can get Kit Kats really cheap in Plovdiv airport - but you are limited to 200 per person for personal consumption.

nothing at Plovdiv, make sure you get your DF's in resort and also take a 2litre coke and some crisps or somtehing with you.
