early - mid jan conditions

hi folks pretty much decided to book the 8th-15th jan i know its either win or loose but has anyone else skied borovets around that time is there much snow or am i best to hold out until feb time for best snow i cant wait!! also booking rila i think is there much difference between the samakov and rila?
