My partners Ex is being hard work...now been told we can only take the little one sking at easter which is 28th march 2007.Was thinking of booking for Borovets..never been before.. can anyone tell me what the snow situation would be like...
was fine last year a bit slushy in the afternoon on the lower slopes, but up the gondola was superb. Of course each year can be differant, but there was still snow higher up until mid may this year
could wait to get a late deal, can usually get some good ones at that time of the year to most of Europe, my friends do that most years as they are teachers and hate pating the hyked prices, also give you chance to check out the snow in all the areas before you book. llok about 2 weeks prior to going as they do get snapped up a few days before travel. its all those teachers after a late break
We stayed in a fantastic place called Iskar hotel and chalets in Goverdartsi last Easter and we had a great time, it was only £99 each, which is a realy bargain, especially when you can get a good deal with Wizz air. The snow was excellent for the time of year, I've skiied all over Europe and I can honestly say that it's as good in Borovets as anywhere else. It still gets pretty chilly above the gondola and the runs up there are brilliant, plenty of snow and no people or queues.
Enjoy ...
