Hi Tamara,

Never been inside hotel Ela, but the location of the hotel is exelent for walking trips in the area. The hotel is is almost in the centre of borovets and you can walk every direction you want. To old Borovets, the resort of the king, etc. Also a nice trip is to walk to samokov (10 km) and go back by bus or taxi!

Hey Tamara,

the Ela is great for your kind of holidays, warm rooms big showers and nice staff.
For walking, there are different possibilities, you can have small trips to Yastrebez Hotel or Royal Hotel or you can walk to The Black Rock, my favorits are the Chakar Voivoda and the Mussala Hut, both good for a half day trip and fantastic nature and scenery. Around 5 to 6 hours for both trips.

Write me a mail if you wanna know some more.
