they are having a heavy dump up there tonight!- plenty of skiing available over Easter- long time since we have had a season like this in the Uk- last chance for some snow fun this year!
Yeah but the winds are unreal ... lots of snow but a few centres not opening today. Off tomorrow and Friday so hopefully getting one last slide in this year
just back from a day at Cairngorm- awsome!
once they dug the train out!- blue skies and great skiing mountain all over- they are expecting a busy easter and i would expect the same given the conditions- never seen it like this since the 80s to be honest- The place is buzzing again!
Had a great few days, hope the snow comes early again before we go to Boro next year to flex the legs so to say!
Which resort would you say was the best in Scotland I am planning a trip up on Monday for a few days can’t make my mind up where to go any info would be appreciated?
First mate- check the weather forcast!
I allways prefer Cairngorm near Aviemore, but thats maby a personal thing.
glenshee if it has good snow cover can offer lots of skiing- try checking each site on the net to see whats expected to be open may be an idea before you set off.
Personally wouldnt bother with the lecht- too far to go for limited skiing compared with the rest.
Glenshee is the nearest off the A9, Cairngorm and the others another hour or so up the road- again check the weather ...

best advice- check each web site to see whats on and decide then
Have a good day as you can have some excellent skiing up there if the weathers ok
Just checked again- cairngorm has excellent cover but winds expected to be strong so may affect uplift- seems the best bet though- if limited skiing plenty of in Aviemore (bit like borovets early this year!)
We have just returned from a great week on the Nevis range. The snow at the top of the mountain was very good. I would say there is enough there for at least another week.
We skied at Glencoe yesterday and again the snow conditions at the top are excellent.
This is our first time skiing in Scotland. And defiantly not our last
First class hospitality and prices to match £3.00 for a pint on top of a mountain that even beats Borovets.
