The best advice as far as I am concerned is to take your own clothing with you - you can buy ski suits there but they may not have what you want or your size - better to be safe than sorry. Best to hire equipment there unless you are a good skier in which case take you own (to your own standard and preference).

As for money take sterling in clean unmarked (and untorn) notes - no writing on them at all or you won't be able to change them (no Scottish notes I'm afraid!). You could take ...

As for money take sterling in clean unmarked (and untorn) notes - no writing on them at all or you won't be able to change them (no Scottish notes I'm afraid!). You could take Dollars but the same rules apply and why bother to change from sterling into dollars and then into Leva when you can just take sterling and change it there? Current rate about 2.75 - 2.80 Leva to the pound.

Hope this helps.

Sparky.

PS. Personally I like the food but its better in the bars and restaruants than in the Hotels (very cheap to eat out!)

On line if you have an M&S card or at one of their in store bureaux de change if you wnat to pay by cash, switch etc...

Yrt ANOTHER 'I've heard' posting that is wrong.
The Lev is worth about 42p.

So if you've got a few million of these worthless notes, please forward them to me.
