re: euro money

Suzie,
Lev's untill around 2010.
Take loads of hot chocolate, chewing gum and toilet rolls
Some say that its best to exchange money here if you wish to spend time looking around for a better rate when you are out there, you might find better but its swings and roundabouts.
Watch out for Mafia chocolate dealers. Confused

re: euro money

Suzie,

Get your Leva from an ATM over there it's cheaper than buying them here. It's a good idea to have some for when you get there though. I usually take about £50 worth.

Excuse Dan but I think he has answered this question 8 million times. Very Happy

re: euro money

Bonjour Suzie!
As it is probaly the same in la France then it is in la Belgique, you cannot change euro's into Levs pour le moment.
The best thing to do is when you arrive go 'change' shopping at hotels and banks..
for Borovets change at hotel ELA! best price!
100 euro = 194 levs
(hotel samokov: 180 levs = not good!)
I do not know for other resorts but a lot of info is under the search buttom..have a look.
Pozdravi (salut) Tanjette
