euro or lev?

Hi all,
was just wondering what currency is best to take to Bulgaria(Bansko),either the euro or lev?
bearing in mind, me and the wife are no longer party animals Booze
and the kids are too young to drink

Lev, as they are not using the single european currency till 2009.
Take Euro to pay for hotels, car hire etc.

what has you and the wife no longer being party animals and the kids not being old enough to drink have to do with what currency you take? are you thinking of selling them or trying to get someone to buy them Razz

levs or sterling.. . the sterling notes need to be in good nick though cos the bulgarians dont seem to like tatty ones

we took lev in Jan and are going back in march and taking lev again, enjoy Booze

it is better to take levs, most of the shops don't accept Visa card
