Take levs. Best rate at M&S or travelex.co.uk and pick up at airport. You will also get a better rate in resort if you just change enough to get you by a day or 2.

Take Bank of England notes if you can. make sure they are clean. Iwas getting 2.77 to the pound compared to 2.60 at the post office.
