exchange rate?

Just got my cash back with Thomas Cook and they did me a rate of 2.45

I know they will be creaming me but surely the Levs hasnt appreciated in value against the £

I have seen exchange rates here of 2.79 .....

I've got about 60 Lev left over from earlier this year - taking those as a starter and will get money out of the hole in the wall machine upon arrival.

Moneyworld.co.uk are currently quoting 2.65 lev to £1. Don't forget the Lev is pegged to the € so if the £ is weak against the € then you won't get as many Lev.

Hope you didn't get stung for commission too.

exchange place in Samokov on Saturday 2.82 to the pound. Do not get Lev here wait until you get to Bg.

Ok, its just their poor rate then!

I didnt change any money up it was a 5% cash back on our holiday so was commission free (although they only need adjust the rate in their favour to make money from you)

£113 cash back isnt too bad is it

2.45 well take £20 worth of levs and take £ and change in the bars we have just come back from a buisness trip and were gettin 2.84 and were back for xmas on holiday and will do the same cheers nige
