exchange rate

Does any one know what the sterling exchange rate is in Borovets? Mixed advice not sure if to change money before we go.

CHANGE BEFORE YOU GO!!!!
the exchange rate varies but it is a round £1 - 2.65lv.
if you change over there they will charge you 6% commision

Change at sofia airport for best rate of 2.90 levs per £1

Hi,

We ordered ours yday at post office and got 2.65 comission free !

You can happily change at most hotel receptions for a very good rate. Sofia aiport one sounds good. Mind you the difference between changing before you go @ 2.65 and 2.90 when you get ther is only pennies. Very Happy

the banks in borovets were paying 2.8 lev to the £ commision free last week .
