extra air taxes

morning,
have been listening to the recent news about these new air taxes being levied. does anyone know if Hemus air has been affected. they say that there is no such thing but i am unsure?

i was asked on booking if i wanted to pay a green tax!! they said that you didn't have to, it was to do with planting trees to compensate the planes co2 emissions Wink Wink so i said no and didn't

Travelling with Balkan on 17th. E-mailed them last week but haven't had a reply yet. Have already received tickets.

Aparently if you have a package holiday (not just fights) they cannot pass on the charges as ABTA regs limit the liability unless it is over a certain percentage of the initial price

Ahh that explains it. A friend of mine has received a letter saying theat BMI are taking the extra money from her debit card - but she booked flights only. Thanks for clarifying that Benson
