had a great week in bansko!!!, snow great, friends who went off piste said best snow ever had, waist deep!! piste area big enough with vaired runs but!! in desparite need of bashing, recon they are concentrating on the downhill course for next weekend, steve c was right about chalin valog, always quiet, piste was smooth best on mountain, the red on the left very easy, saw a few ski police but no idiots or collisions!!! the gondalor que not to bad though would be greatly reduced if seating ...

staying at hotel strazhite, thanks for those who recommended it!!! location was good for gondalor and the touristy bars, enjoyed amigo's, queens, happy end after skiing (in happy hour 3 levs pint), though LOVED BEST walking down bottom part of pirin street, beyond pirin 75 bar, (rip off at 5lev pint), and into old town centre, drinking in sum fab authentic taverna's, cheap and often had real bulgarin music being played, sum quite funky bars in and around the old centre sqare just 2 levs pint!! very friendly locals,
prob better meals than the hotels we have stayed in at boro, though it did get repetative by end of week
the leather shops great value
no packs of dogs!! 3 the most we saw together
my new head i type 10 boots were brill, no pain after 3 hours skiing, have v.wide feet and despite having my old ones pushed out twice, they were never right
with these fab conditions might try to get to pamporovo at end of month!!!!
