re: family's

There have been many questions lately from parents concerned about Kindergarden skiing, and whether kids can ski with adults.

There has also been some misguided information given in the replies, so I'll try and clear it up once and for all.

Junior Ski Classes are open to children over the age of 4.

If 2 adults book a full ski pack, or learn to ski pack with Balkan then one child aged 4 - 7 receives a free place in the Junior Ski Club, and one child aged 7 - 11 receives a free place in general ski school.

IN SHORT, 4 is the minimum age that you can place a child in a ski class.

Kindergarden instructors are reguarded as among the best anywhere in Europe, and your kids will be very safe,
and treated very very well.

If you insist on skiing with your kids, (and believe me they will have a far better time skiing with other kids) then you can all ski in a group together. The instructors will not prevent you from enjoying yourselves together, although a 7 year old may hold the rest of the class back as the week goes on.

This information is correct, trust me, I'm a Consultant!

Ski lessons run from 10am until 12.30pm then from 1.30pm until 3.30pm (approximately) and all lessons end at the bottom where you can all meet up again and free-ski together for the last hour if you so wish.

Now stop worrying and start looking forward to THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER

re: family's

Just got back from Pamporovo this afternoon.
First week skiing with wife and 8 year old son.

We and some other families all in the same group.

Gave our son a break one day and put him in kindergaten(bargain 7.50 inc lunch).
Came with us again afterwards and ended up as the best skier in our group.
My advice is to ski as a family as you will enjoy watching them prgress, yes pete is right they are slower the first few days but technically superior by the end of the week.
Depends ...

re: family's

We have done and enjoyed both. The kids are better than you regardless of where they ski so go with what you feel most comfortable with.

If you do decide to ski as a family make up a ski group with like minded people so that you are all families together. I can understand how other peoples children were irriataing if a) you don't have any yourself or b) you put them in ski school/kindergarten to get away from them!!

Hope this helps
