family of 5!

any ifo out there on the best hotel to stay in with our 3 small boys - all skiers but new to Bulgaria and want to be as close to nursery/ski school as possible - (has anyone tried carrying 3 sets of skis ?! )

we always struggle to find a suite/room for 5....also any advice on which airport/ resort offers the shortest transfer time??

re: family of 5!

Try self catering in Bansko. You can book Mont Blanc apartments through this site. We had 5 of us in a 2 bed appartment last season and it was great. You can leave skis at the gondola station in the storage room for about 3 lev per day per person or take them with you to the appartments in a shuttle bus for 2 lev ( 70p) per day return each.

Borovets is a shorter transfer but I've heard the skiing is better in Bansko.

re: family of 5!

thank you for these replies - we are looking into the Rila Hotel appartments as they are 2 beds and with the amount of ski-ing stuff we take extra space is a priority!!
