re: family ski

inghams, crystal, first choice, thomson. all good and there are some good deals at moment too. they also do a large ski pack(aimed at people who have skied before but want to stay with instructor) this is good and only a few pounds more than the learn to ski. it includes the same i.e 6day lessons, lift pass and equipment. if you dont know the resort i reccomend this as you will find out the runs that are suited to you and where the lifts etc are. but if you are quite a confident skier then ...

Steve
We have booked with Thomson for last year and again for Feb next year, going back to the Rila, one tip we found when pricing the package up is include the kids as adults as sometimes it works out cheaper, as the travel company will give you discount for children but the add supplements for not having four adults in a room. Our kids loved Borovets last year had a fab time and is very safe of them to walk around at night (11 & 13 year olds)

Hi
yes we stayed in the Rila as a family with 7 and 9 year olds, excellent ski to the door, nursery slopes right outside, lift a step away all very handy, sledging at night etc etc, stayed in France without the kids before and this was much better can't wait to go back.

First place we have been that I have seen 'families' skiing with the ski instructor, ifyou want them to be in lessons with other kids then they do that, but if you want to stay together they gave us that option 2 if ...

First place we have been that I have seen 'families' skiing with the ski instructor, ifyou want them to be in lessons with other kids then they do that, but if you want to stay together they gave us that option 2 if there was another family who wanted to do the same - so flexible.

Enjoy yourselves.
