I was told that a 10 Lev note handed at strategic moments can get you a the best available Ski / Boots during your initial fitting but I am a newbie to Bulgaria so someone else can confirm if this is effective or not.
place to eat Bobby's Bar they have a kids room with a wii and the food is excellent and the staff are great, a mixture of Aussie Kiwi and British in the evening and Bulgarian during the day. The atmosphere is great and you will be made very welcome the Napoli restaurant is also good for a change. You can take them bowling at Samokov hotel, or there is a swimming pool at the Rila hotel. Ice skating in Samokov. It will be busier on the slopes but as the children have ski packages that won't ...

Ice skating in Samokov. It will be busier on the slopes but as the children have ski packages that won't effect them . You can night ski any evening and on a weds eve the Borosport team do a display. You can take out a skidoo and there are hire and cart rides.
You can do as much or as little as you like.
I hope these were some of the suggestions you were looking for.

Well Robert you will be in good hands. The ski depot and school are based on the lower ground floor of the hotel that you are staying in. You will be given tickets on the transfer from the airport and you will need to excahnge these on the Sunday morning for your lift pass. The Sunday moring will be mayhem, just write it off. I'd get to see the reps as early as you can for the lift passes and then get your breakfast and then head down for the boot fitting etc. Just follow the instructions ...

Assuming you can't ski, you should be able to ski together if you want. You may be hanging around until 10 or 11am until everyone is sorted with a school. You will generally spend all day with the instructor, even having lunch with them. They will ask you to attend the ski instructors cabaret on Wed and probably ask the class to go out for a meal on the Friday eve before the diplomas are handed out. You will be skiing with the Samokov ski school and not Borosports probably.
If you are half board get down to the restaurant early at all meal times to get the most choice and warmest food. All drinks have to be paid for in cash. There is a really good reception area where crepes can be purchased for not much lev between about 3 and 5 pm. Very tasty they are too. If you want to know anything else just ask.
