HiWe're off to the finlandia over half term and just wondered if anyone has stayed in the hotel and what it's like? Also can anyone recommend good restaurants in pamps?

Some of our group stayed there last year and said it was fine, if you havn't been to Bulgaria before do not expect the stars to equate to european standards and dont expect piping hot food, I was told the Bulgarians think it is bad for you! The transfer buses were also no problem , We had a brilliant first ever ski trip to pamps last year cant wait to get out there again! Have a good time...enjoyre: finlandia hotel

we have been to the Finlandia the last two years, and although the hotel is a little way out of resort, we never found this to be a problem. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the piste and also into town at night for a small fee (must book this in advance though!). the food can be a little 'tepid' sometimes, but the restaurant manager is very obliging and always happy to take comments on board and speak to you later to check you are happy. The prices are very reasonable and they have a money exchange booth in reception where they are happy to change cheques or GBP unmarked notes. The pool and other facilities are good but there is a small charge for the turksih room and steam room. The masseuse is great and very cheap, well worth booking in for the middle of your stay to get rid of the aches and pains.

HiJust got back from Finlandia and found it great. Food not the best, but on the whole ok. We had a family room and this was big, clean and the bathroom was better than most of the hotels in the UK. Hope you have a great stay.
