hi can any1 help please i am thinking of takeing my family here on dec 30 2006 can any1 tell me if the hotell etc is a good choice for a family with 1 girl aged 7 and a boy aged 14 gota great deal i dpont want to miss just wanted to know a little more about the hotel many thanks :rich

hi thx for the link pete i had looked at it before but i found not many posts about this hotel from people that have stayed there also u think i should get my ski lessons from the holiday rep or wait and book it once i arive?Also are the new years celebrations good at pamp im quite looking forward to it as never been away for new years with my family

Not been to Finlandia at New Year but I've been last 2 years & we're going there again in February. It is a bit out of town so depends how much you want to go out partying etc but we've got a 13 yr old and after a hard days skiing & a few drinks or so in the bar etc we're normally shattered anyway.
If you're booking with Balkan etc I'd definately book with them before you go, its £100 each & you get 4 hrs (or more) tuition, skis, boots & lift pass & it will cost you loads more ...

So in short I wouldn't hesitate going again but like most things its down to individual taste.

gill your an angel thanks for your reply this has answered all my doubts now im gona book it right away as the agent is holding this holiday for me untill 10pm only downside i can see now about the hol is we will fly to sofia so we will have a little more traveling time but if the hotel is fine i think it will be worth it thanks again:richre: finlandia pampovoro

went thier two years ago with my kids yes a bit out of town but lovely hotel with good facilities try a massagere: finlandia pampovoro
Stayed their last year and agree with Gill's comments.Enjoyed it so much we have booked again for this year.
Don't forget your cossie, the kids love the pool after a long days skiing.
Also, if you can fit them in take the sledges/bumboards.
The kids realy enjoyed making sledge runs in the trees opposite the entrance to the hotel!!!!. And you can watch them from the bar
