first time in boro

well, as a seasoned skiier, this will be my firs time in Boro, but from what people say on here, it seems like a really fun place. Bring on 12th March, oh and bring on the beer. (The first run of the day is no fun without a hangover).We're staying at the Rila hotel, anyone got any opinions on its location, quality etc..?

Off there tomorrow, get back early hours of the 6th so I'll be posting when I regain consciousness, so look out and I'll let you all know about Boro, the Rila and beginners ski school.re: first time in boro
stayed in Rila few years ago and in samakov just at new year.
Rila is an excellent hotel everythin u could need's there.
It's right at the bottom of the nursery slopes and other slopes all lead onto these so u can ski to ur front door. U r also close to all nightlife as everythin is close proximity. Try the Buzz bar - happy hour 3 - 8 then again from 10-12 buy 1 get 1 free!! White magic is also quite cool, Christo the owner is a little bit mad, used to be Bulgarian olympic champion ...

We are a family of 5 staying in the Rila that week. Stayed the same one last year and it was great. Was in Andorra earlier in the season and was soooo cold - so looking forward to some spring skiing in the sun. How many in your groupre: first time in boro
Thanks for the posts, we're really loking forward to it.Carol, I'm going with my mate who has been to Bulgaria before, so just the two of us. Keep your eye out for us in the hotel, we will be the ones probably a little tipsy...with all the good intentions of having early night...! Not..!
