I am (was) booked to go to Borovets from Glasgow on 26th Feb 06 (party of 17 adults and 4 children)...we have just been informed today that all flights from glasgow have been cancelled for the whole of the season...has any one from scotland experienced this..we were booked thru thomsons as inghams were not on the flight!! we have been told we have to fly from manchester but we have three children who will only be 11 months at the time, and the flight comes in late at night..
Somebody else on this board mentioned this about Edinburgh last week I think. Try the serach facility. You could alo look on www.skidvd.co.uk it is another forum dedicated to Borovets and is a bit better organised.
By the way how are you looking after your 11months olds while in Borovets. Is there a creche there that will accpet children that age
yes - we had the same problem. due to fly on christmas eve with first choice. we were offered a free cancellation or flights from manchester. looked at other holidays but hotel availability was poor so decided to take manchester flights. we had to book a hotel at airport either end of holiday and car parking costing another £249. not ideal. have you been offered any compensation?
