Some people are so lucky, I wish I lived near Manchester:
On October 2nd, 2005 Bulgaria Air started a regular route to Manchester, UK.
Flights FB499 and FB500 operate every Thursday and Sunday.
FB500 Manchester 15:45 Sofia 21:10
FB499 Sofia 13:05 Manchester 14:45
£150 still.

I saw a cheap deal from Birmingham last night £257 over Xmas to Bansko see the link at skidvd.co.uk departs 23/12/05

look on the internet at ba.com good prices london heathrow to sofia £190 inc tax. depending on your date of travel dont know if you can get a manchester-sofia flight maybe woth your while looking.

Try air italia, you have to stop over in rome for 40 Mins but the filghts are daylight and cheep
